3D printing for kart drivers

Thanks to the continuous evolution of additive technologies, 3D printing is gaining prominence in many industrial and research fields, offering unique advantages in terms of design flexibility, rapid prototyping, and product customization.

We use 3D printing to manufacture all the components in our catalog, employing different technologies and types of material depending on the performance requirements of each component.

One of the most iconic components of our production is the telemetry sun visor, an accessory that can be completely customized in every detail according to our customers' preferences. In addition to offering effective protection for the display, the sun visor adds a touch of originality and style to the track, making your kart instantly recognizable.

During onboard video recordings, the sun visor gives a “Formula 1” effect, especially when the driver's nickname is framed, creating a distinctive and professional element in your recordings.

We use high-quality PLA to make it, available in a wide range of colors, both matte and glossy. This material, one of the most popular and versatile in the world of 3D printing, guarantees an excellent balance between strength, lightness, and aesthetic quality, resulting in a durable, functional, and attractive product.

Another component that, despite appearing simple, hides a high degree of technical complexity is the rear bumper.

 Its real strength lies in the material: carbonyl polyethylene reinforced with glass fiber, designed to guarantee excellent mechanical and abrasion resistance without compromising the flexibility required in case of contact with the track curbs.

 Thanks to this combination of properties, the pad offers durability, performance, and reliability even in the most extreme conditions, confirming itself as a small but fundamental component for the protection and efficiency of the kart.

The last product I want to present to you is the flexible pad for protecting frame tubes. Thanks to its high flexibility, this component easily adapts to any type of frame, offering effective protection without compromising its structure.

It is made of TPU, a material similar to that used for phone covers, known for its excellent abrasion resistance and ability to absorb shocks and impacts, thus preventing annoying scratches or dents on the frame.

Furthermore, its design has been studied so as not to alter the rigidity or drivability of the kart, thus ensuring maximum protection without sacrificing performance on the track.
